The Denver Museum of Nature & Science Selects Equilibrium MediaRich to Preview, Modify, and Deliver Image Assets throughout Museum

SAN RAFAEL, CA—JANUARY 7, 2003—Equilibrium, a leading provider of rich-media servers for the enterprise, today announced that The Denver Museum of Nature & Science has selected Equilibrium® MediaRich™ Image Server to integrate with Microsoft Content Management Server and SharePoint Portal Server to streamline the workflow and reduce production costs for creating, managing and deploying images for their media asset management system.
Equilibrium MediaRich is server-based media templating software that automates image production and enables the dynamic delivery of visual assets to the Web, wireless and print media. Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server offers workgroup collaboration, permission-based user interfaces, document management services and indexing functionality. Microsoft Content Management Server enables companies to build, deploy and maintain content-rich Web sites quickly and efficiently.
By integrating MediaRich Image Server with Microsoft Content Management Server, SharePoint Portal Server and other third party software, The Denver Museum of Nature & Science application will leverage MediaRich's real-time imaging and batch processing tools to allow the Museum's subject matter experts to preview, select, modify and publish images from their catalog directly to their internal portal and to external points of access throughout the Museum.
