Brett G. Durrett – CEO, IMVU
Brett Durrett has over 20 years experience leading companies in software and systems ranging from large-scale Internet services to video games. As CEO at IMVU, he originally led the engineering and technical operations teams and successfully grew technical operations from two machines to over 600 servers. Now Brett leads the entire company. Prior to IMVU, Mr. Durrett served as the Director of Engineering, Vice President of Operations and General Manager for the virtual world at There.com. He was also co-founder and CEO of Asylum Entertainment, a game development company he sold to a software publisher after developing 20 game titles in a 5-year period.
Nahhe Nomie – CFO, Extensis
Nahhe Nomie oversees finance and operations for Extensis. Nahhe joined the company in early 2006 and has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services market. Before joining Extensis he worked for DecisionPoint Software where he was closely involved in three rounds of funding totaling over $45M and in the ultimate sale of the company. Prior to DecisionPoint Sofware, he was with Price Waterhouse, LLC.
Advisory Board
Mark Evans – Head of Marketplace Intelligence, Google
Mr. Evans has over 30 years experience in advertising, marketing strategy, business development and advertising sales. For twelve years he was in various Director Positions in the Internet business running Programs, Operations, Planning, Business Development and National Ad sales for companies such as Netscape and eBay. He was initially hired by Google in 2007 to direct the planning and acquisition of Premium Display advertising. Currently, as Google’s head of Marketplace Intelligence, Mr. Evans is responsible for business relationships with key strategic media partners as they pertain to Google’s entry into the display market. As such, he is active on multiple cross-functional strategic planning groups for Google display initiatives overall.
Stacey Foster – Coordinating Producer, Saturday Night Live
Mr. Foster has over 30 years experience with every aspect of television production. He has been with Saturday Night Live since 1985 and Coordinating Producer since 1999. He has overseen all technical aspects of the Emmy-Award winning comedy show’s production, including the show’s transition to HD a few years ago. He is also currently serving as Consulting Producer on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Among his many other credits are The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Kids in the Hall, Late Night with David Letterman, the live Survivor finales, and two Paul Simon concerts for HBO – Graceland: The African Concert and Rhythm of the Saints. Mr. Foster began his career in 1976, starting his own production company PanAVid, which is still operating today.
Colin Crawford – Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Media7
Mr. Crawford is a seasoned executive leader and accomplished entrepreneur with a track record of management success over 20 years in diverse international media businesses, including print, online and mobile properties. Currently, he is CEO and Founder of Media7, a consultancy and strategic advisory company focusing on mobile media. He is also a Venture Affiliate at IDG Ventures San Francisco, a Senior Fellow and Advisory Board member of the Society for New Communications Research and an advisor to a number of early and mid-stage companies. Previously, Mr. Crawford held a series of senior executive leadership roles at IDG (International Data Group), and served on the IDG senior management team and the operations review boards of all the IDG brands. Mr. Crawford has extensive International experience, working with IDG business units in Europe and Asia.
Steve Denebeim – Chief Financial Officer, ClairMail
Mr. Denebeim brings over 20 years of leadership experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for ClairMail’s finance, human resources, administrative and legal functions. His background includes domestic and international positions managing finance, administration, operations, business development, legal, outsourcing and acquisition strategies. His expertise in growing businesses has benefited a broad range of wireless and enterprise software companies, including TalkPlus (CFO), Equilibrium (COO/CFO), MarketTools (Vice President, Business Development) and Softline AG (Corporate Development). Mr. Denebeim began his career in corporate and technology law, serving as Partner and Chairman of the Technology Law Department at Feldman, Waldman & Kline.
