Sean Barger - Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
           
sbarger100x150.jpgWith over twenty years of management, engineering and production experience in the software industry, Mr. Barger is the visionary behind Equilibrium's next-generation Automated Media Processing Solutions (AMPS) including the DeBabelizer and MediaRich product lines for the desktop, workgroup and enterprise markets.  As the original founder of Equilibrium (1989), Mr. Barger pioneered the product development, global distribution, and strategic partnerships for the award-winning DeBabelizer and MediaRich Dynamic Media Processing Platform. Before returning to the helm of Equilibrium, Barger established an executive consultancy where he was responsible for the turnaround of a $120M Pan-European public software distribution company and the raising of multiple rounds of financing for his clients.  Prior to founding Equilibrium, Mr. Barger was an Executive Producer of more than 55 entertainment software titles.


Steve Johnson - Chief Technology Officer

sjohnson100x150.jpgMr. Johnson has more than sixteen years of engineering management and software development experience, with expertise in object-oriented frameworks, client-server architectures, image processing, and 3D animation techniques.  As the head of Equilibrium's Research and Development Department, he manages the design, development and support of the company's desktop and server-based imaging product line on Windows, UNIX and Macintosh platforms.  Before joining Equilibrium, Mr. Johnson established the engineering arm of Pixar's Interactive Titles Division, a group that produced a number of award-winning CD-ROM titles.  He designed and implemented the distributed processing system that creates Pixar's feature films.  He authored RenderMan for Macintosh Pixar's photorealistic rendering software.



Herb Shattuck - Senior Vice President of Sales

herb.jpgMr. Shattuck brings over twenty-five years of enterprise and channel sales experience to the company. He has held various senior sales and business development positions in both Fortune 500 corporations as well as start-ups. His experience includes ten years with ROLM Communications where he held positions in sales, sales management, marketing and general management.  As Vice President, Eastern Region Sales at GeoTel Communications, Mr. Shattuck's team closed multi-million dollars sales to Prudential Insurance, the IRS, and Delta Airlines, which, among others enabled the launch of a successful IPO. As General Manager at Aspect Communications, Mr. Shattuck carried P & L responsibility for more than one hundred and thirty sales and service personnel and $160M revenue target. His last position, prior to running his own business, was a Vice President of Business Development at Packeteer where he closed a $6M partnership agreement with Intel and successfully negotiated an $80M acquisition of Workfire, Inc.



Peer Blumenschein - Managing Director, European Sales

peer_jacket_tie.jpgPeer Blumenschein was formerly CEO and founder of Softline AG, a pan European distributor of hundreds of enterprise software products with over 120 Million Euro's in sales and a staff of over 300.  Mr. Blumenschein heads up our  European Sales offices located in Basel, Switzerland, covering the territories of Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. Mr. Blumenschein handles the growing market for Equilibrium's enterprise solutions, including the appointment of master distribution relationships and system integrator / gold partner activities in the territory.

Brett G. Durrett - Vice President of Engineering, IMVU

Brett Durrett has over 20 years experience leading development of software and systems ranging from large-scale Internet services to video games. As Vice President of Engineering at IMVU, he leads the engineering and technical operations teams and successfully grew technical operations from two machines to over 600 servers. Prior to IMVU, Mr. Durrett served as the Director of Engineering, Vice President of Operations and General Manager for the virtual world at There.com. He was also co-founder and CEO of Asylum Entertainment, a game development company he sold to a software publisher after developing 20 game titles in a 5-year period.

Osamu Ikeda - Chief Executive Officer and President, Celartem, Inc.

Osamu Ikeda has more than ten years of experience in the software business both in Japan and U.S.A. Mr. Ikeda is CEO and President of Celartem, Inc., a US subsidiary of Celartem Technology, Inc. (Osaka Securities Exchange, Hercules:4330). He joined Celartem in 2000. As a board member, he led Celartem in its Initial Public Offering; spearheaded Celartem's strategic merger and acquisition of Extensis;and was also involved in the merger and acquisition of LizardTech. Prior to joining Celartem, Mr. Ikeda worked for Sumitomo Corporation as a business development staff member in the Information & Electric Systems Department. At Sumitomo he was the project leader for a Japanese government research and development project for distribution of digital images through the Internet.

Colin Crawford - Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Media7

Mr. Crawford is a seasoned executive leader and accomplished entrepreneur with a track record of management success over 20 years in diverse international media businesses, including print, online and mobile properties. Currently, he is CEO and Founder of Media7, a consultancy and strategic advisory company focusing on mobile media. He is also a Venture Affiliate at IDG Ventures San Francisco, a Senior Fellow and Advisory Board member of the Society for New Communications Research and an advisor to a number of early and mid-stage companies. Previously, Mr. Crawford held a series of senior executive leadership roles at IDG (International Data Group), and served on the IDG senior management team and the operations review boards of all the IDG brands. Mr. Crawford has extensive International experience, working with IDG business units in Europe and Asia.

Steve Denebeim - Chief Financial Officer, ClairMail

Mr. Denebeim brings over 20 years of leadership experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for ClairMail's finance, human resources, administrative and legal functions. His background includes domestic and international positions managing finance, administration, operations, business development, legal, outsourcing and acquisition strategies. His expertise in growing businesses has benefited a broad range of wireless and enterprise software companies, including TalkPlus (CFO), Equilibrium (COO/CFO), MarketTools (Vice President, Business Development) and Softline AG (Corporate Development). Mr. Denebeim began his career in corporate and technology law, serving as Partner and Chairman of the Technology Law Department at Feldman, Waldman & Kline.

Stacey Foster - Coordinating Producer, Saturday Night Live

Mr. Foster has over 30 years experience with every aspect of television production. He has been with Saturday Night Live since 1985 and Coordinating Producer since 1999. He has overseen all technical aspects of the Emmy-Award winning comedy show's production, including the show's transition to HD a few years ago. He is also currently serving as Consulting Producer on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Among his many other credits are The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Kids in the Hall, Late Night with David Letterman, the live Survivor finales, and two Paul Simon concerts for HBO - Graceland: The African Concert and Rhythm of the Saints. Mr. Foster began his career in 1976, starting his own production company PanAVid, which is still operating today.


Stacy Jolna  -
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, CrossPointe Media

Mr. Jolna is CEO of CrossPointe Media, a strategic cross-platform branding and marketing firm focused on innovation and revenue for clients at the cross point of advertising, entertainment and technology. Prior to starting Crosspoint Media, Mr. Jolna was Senior Vice President and General Manager at TV Guide Television Group where he built from scratch the first produced short-form video network for all digital platforms:  TV Guide SPOT - now in more than 40mm cable VOD HH's as well as on the web and mobile. He has been named to Ad Age's Marketing 100 and i20 leading new media executives for his work on TiVo's go-to-market/IPO executive team. Mr. Jolna served as TiVo's Chief Programming Officer, running brand point on the company's investment and commercial business development strategy in the entertainment and advertising communities.  His earned a earned a Peabody and multiple Emmys for his television work at CNN, where he managed CNN Special Reports and launched CNN Presents.
