MediaRich ECM for SharePoint Online

It’s as easy as:

1) Upload your files using our MediaBatch Uploader.  It will enable you to append metadata or replace fields during the upload process.  You can upload an entire hierarchy of files with a single upload. (Just upload the top level folder and all sub-folders will upload as well)  Shift, or multiple select files.

2) Use SharePoints collaboration functions, share, view with Zoom and Pan, Create workflows to get reviews and approval and add other libraries to customize your environment by projects.  Instant-On allows you to “turn on” MediaRich in any standard document library as well.

3) The MediaRich Image Workspace enables export, select for the MediaCart™, multiple-select for zip and download and much more.  Search from the basic SharePoint search, or from the MediaRich Search in the Image Workspace to get a light-table view.

We are in the process of expanding the user documentation to include the seamless integration with TeamPortal.  For now, you can refer to the MediaRich for SharePoint User Documentation Here to give your end-users a basic idea of how to use the export and batch processing functions. You will find it easy to add and manage members in the “Members” pull down in the top right of the site.  You will also find the “SubSites” pull-down there, for adding sub-sites, modifying the site details and general MediaRich Administration, including (as an Administrator) the ability to modify the size of thumbnails, light table settings and the length of you audio and video previews.  Finally, you will see the standard SharePoint 2010 Site Actions menu, where your available options for administering and customizing SharePoint are available.  Enjoy!

Remember, you or your SharePoint Administrator can customize SharePoint as always. The Instant-On functions of MediaRich are also present and available in any document library you create – just turn them on in the library settings where it says “MediaRich Settings” and you are good to go!  Instant-On libraries are able to be displayed and “rolled up” in the MediaRich light table view, and also turn SharePoint Search into a visual feast, providing thumbnails, video and audio playback, zoom and pan, and MediaRich document content type for all metadata extraction.
