On-Demand Watermarking
Equilibrium MediaRich Server plus the optional Digimarc iKit, enable the technologies to easily integrate and work together. With a simple embed command, every image generated by MediaRich is protected by the world class Digimarc forensic watermarking technology. MediaRich's streamlined production advantages allow a watermarked image to persistently communicate copyrights, increase e-commerce opportunities, enhance digital asset management, and be tracked across the web.
MediaRich and Digimarc offer a number of high-level benefits:
1 - A user requests a Web page. The user's browser requests the page from the corresponding website's server.
2 - The website's server replies to the page request with HTML for the text and the layout, plus the server address for a MediaRich asset.
3 - As the page text and layout loads onto the user's screen, the user's browser requests the image from the MediaRich image server.
4 - The MediaRich server dynamically generates the requested asset, embeds a unique Digimarc digital watermark, then delivers the final asset to the user.
